The services offered within The PREP System are designed to provide the necessary information and tools to assist each family that enrolls and fully engages with the suggested activities and required actions.

Planning

The main focus of our efforts within the PREP System is on creating a personal plan for your student that would allow them to have an educational and career path that is based on their own desires. No dream is too big or small for us to plan for and create path towards a lifetime pursuit of happiness.

Portfolio

Each student will have a portfolio of documentation from each step that they complete. This portfolio will also be their professional record of achievement to use in their efforts of beginning their careers. The portfolio will be constantly available and updated according to any changes in the student's accomplishments.

Transcript Analysis

We take pride in making sure that the family is aware of all the information surrounding their student's efforts to succeed. We teach the family how to analyze the student's transcript according to NCAA and the Department of Education's standards for secondary education along with the school's individual requirements.

Mentoring

We work towards pairing our students up with a mentor that is currently producing in the career field that our students are interested in. It is our desire that our mentors are excited about their career and can guide our students down the right path to help them get excited as well. Our mentors are volunteers that are very willing to give back to their own and other communities.

College Admission Application

Assistance

When students have reached the point of being eligible to apply for college admissions, their PREP System advisor will help them through that process. In the event that their advisor is unable to assist we will provide access to the next available advisor in that student's area.

Health and Wellness Review

As a part of the introductory sessions the family is asked a series of questions concerning the family's health and wellness. This is by no means a professional check-up or will result in a professional opinion, but it is a activity that will assess if the family should seek additional consultation.

Workshops

We work very closely with nonprofit entities that offer workshops to provide skills that may be necessary for the students. These may include speech, subject tutoring, drug awareness, writing, budgeting, and many other opportunities made available to the community. As a note it is important to know that these workshops are subject to availability and may also be subject to limitations outside of our control.

Athletic Advising

Athletes have a few additional requirements that they have to fulfill in their pursuit of college admissions and athletic eligibility. After assessing the athlete's current status, the assistance provided will be based on the athlete's choice of academic pursuit. We do not promise recruiting assistance or make it available, but we will advise the athlete in the direction of the resources necessary to provide further assistance.

Personal Advising

We take pride in making sure that the assistance that student receives is individualized and based on their own desires and not those of their peers or outside influences. We are also aware that the student's mind may change and it will directly affect their educational plans. We can assist with the adjustment as long as there is adequate time to put together a feasible plan of action and we'd expect a valid follow through.
